Rates and Procedures

Typing Services Rates

All work is priced individually unless you have an agreed contract rate.  As a guide, our rates start at £7.00 plus VAT per 1,000 words (based on clear, legible text).  A minimum fee of £25.00 plus VAT is applicable.

All prices are subject to V.A.T.

Audio Transcription Rates

The following rates are per recorded minute and are provided as a guide. They are based on one voice dictation, the recording being clear and the content being letters/non-specialist reports for example. Large volumes of work or a regular continuous requirement will generate our best rates whereas one off, short recordings will incur a minimum charge of £25.00 plus VAT.

Our typists proof read the completed document prior to final checking and return.

Weekends or bank holidays, both of which incur additional costs, are not included in turnaround time.

Additional voices, time stamps, verbatim and edited verbatim recordings incur additional charges, as do specialist subjects such as medical. We will be discuss this in more detail at the time of quoting.

Large volumes of work or a regular continuous requirement will generate our best rates whereas one off, short recordings will incur a minimum charge of twenty five pounds (£25) plus VAT.

Admin Services Rates

Our rates are dependent on the service required and range from £18.00 to £30.00 per hour – our aim is to provide a pricing structure that works best for your business, saving you firstly time and secondly cost.

Clients who purchase our services on a monthly basis will be charged a maintenance fee of £25.00 + VAT per month. This will be offset against work completed in that particular month.

All prices are subject to VAT.

Procedures and Payments

Prior to the commencement of any work we will require a postal address, in some instances we may also ask for a deposit, and written confirmation that you want us to proceed. This can either be by email or alternatively we can forward you a booking form to sign, scan and return or mail back to us.

All prices on this site are provided as a guide. We will give you a fixed cost prior to commencement, once we have reviewed the full extent of the work. Should we discover that more time is required to complete a task, we will make you aware and ask for you acceptance.

A minimum fee of £25.00 plus VAT is applicable in all cases.

Payment will be required prior to the release of one-off pieces of work. This can be by bank transfer or credit/debit card.

Regular clients are invoiced monthly with payment to be made within seven days of the date of the invoice by either bank transfer, debit/credit card or cheque.

Invoices that remain outstanding after the agreed payment date may become subject to debt collection fees and/or interest charged at the prevailing Bank of England base rate, plus five percent.

All prices are subject to V.A.T. at the current rate.
